i find a lot of the video content for this game is kind of silly. If i were you i'd ignore most of the "best gun" videos. Main reason being that a lot of the videos ive seen really depend on what you have unlocked. I'd recommend playing with guns you like, or think you might like, and trying them out in the test range. It doesn't help that every description in this game is AI generated slop that doesn't describe a damn thing.
 
putting entire weapons to unlock behind a battle pass is really dumb. I recall the BF4 weapon progression being pretty damn good. iirc one thing i liked about it was unlocking special ammo for some weapons was something that you progressed with all weapons in that class. Like for shotguns, once you unlocked slugs you unlocked it for all the shotguns, iirc? maybe im thinking of bad company 2.

one thing i love to do on firestorm is if i see enemy tanks camping around F i will sneak back there and there is a tow missile. Hit their ass with the tow and then a follow up shot with an rpg usually gets them pretty damn low. if they already took a hit it will get them for sure. but fun to follow up with the anti vehicle grenades. people freak out when they are getting hit so fast

I noticed the hit reg was pretty bad and i was wondering if it was due to my low ping rates. usually show a ping of 8-9. most players seem to be higher in the 20-40 range. I thought i was landing shots in cq frantic battles and then the kill screen would show up and when i clearly got 2-3 hit markers i'd maybe show i damaged them with 1 or none at all.

I hope this reduces the "fall back to prone" laying on their back thing people are doing into rubble to go almost invisible.

attachments i don't even read the descriptions. they don't make any sense. i just see what they do on the bars and then try them in the range.

the only audio i take issue with is i can't tell you how many times i've run face first into a tank and had absolutely no idea it was there. zero audio cues. with the size of these maps you should hear tanks from a minimum of 100 meters. unless there is some additional quiet bonus to creeping the tank that i don't know about i really hate how silent the armor is. as someone whos been around armor a few times. they are fucking loud as hell!
 
there are some glitches, at least on PC, the damn client gets all weird and you can't select a match to join. hope they fix that quick
