Do theRockets have any actual plays that they run?

All I see is Harden and Ariza jacking up 3s

Jordan is Goat. Jordan was 6-0 in finals. Lebron was involved on the wrong end of the most one sided Finals in NBA history in 2013-14. Plus he's only 3-4 in finals. Jordan is goat and I hated Jordan.
Jordan is better

Lebron by durability and consistency

He will probably end up going to his 7th straight finals

In this day and age that's mind boggling

Agreed

I just don't understand how a conference can be so God Damn weak that one player, no matter what team he plays for can just steam roll every team for 7 years and breeze to the finals like Lebron. In that same span Lebron has lost 3 finals to teams in the West (Should've been a 4th if GS didn't melt down). West is so much more dominant in general than the east. It drives me nuts. These games aren't even fucking competitive. It's like we have to wait for Lebron to get to the finals to see him find competition against West teams.

It's becoming the same story in the west as well. Is anybody seriously predicting that the Warriors will lose in the semi's? This is practice to these teams, and it's getting way out of hand. The fact that The Warriors, as stacked as they already were, can go out and get Durant for kicks, is embarrassing. I don't know how anyone outside of those cities can get excited for this shit. It's so futile. Your team is going to get fucking creamed.

You don't see this shit in any other league. I can't predict what two teams will be in the NHL Finals, Superbowl, or World Series in game 1 of the regular season. It's so pointless to even attempt to care about the NBA, unless you're a fan of one of the two super teams.

D'antoni was probably like, "Harden, you have 3 fouls in the first half. Don't play any defense"
Harden: You got it chief.

this game is crazy, the refs are letting them play

2 fts to 6? cot damn

Agreed. I stopped watching basketball in the late 90s because I got sick and tired of the fucking Bulls winning it every year. 2014 I finally gave it another try. And what do I see? The same thing. Two teams dominating everyone else. Nobody comes close. And it looks like a Warriors Cavs finals for the third straight year.

Glad to know I'm not the only one sick of this shit.

Sitting here courtside cheering them Rockets and theBeard. The dream here too..

Houstcans getting schooled as i predicted. Game 4 also in SA next. Kawhi is just levels better than hardcan and it shows.

Lol at them still not shutting up about Tony Parker. He is a role player at this point and not a particularly good one. They'll be them without him.

What do you mean "in this day and age"? The day and age where he has the best supporting cast in the east and the rest of the conference is an absolute joke? If the jordan era cows were playing in an east as watered down as this, they could have sat jordan until the finals and still swept everybody.

Game 4 is in Houston , so pressure is on Rockets to tie series or else San Antonio probably closes it out in SA for game 5.

Oh shit nevermind thought they already played in houston twice for some reason.

No. Their whole scheme is Hardcan drive and kick and beating teams down court. They lack the playmakers to run anything other than predictable sets with Hardcan in the half court. Their shooters are of the stationary variety as well so its not like a Ray Allen out there getting himself open off the ball when the Spurs decide to play Harden straight up and force him to win the game by himself.

I've thought all season that these Rockets are the most boring gunslinger team of all time. Just no creativity whatsoever. Style innovated by anybody who has played NBA 2K. They make the three ball boring

That's not a knock on the coach. It is the best they can get from the roster so C'antoni deserves credit for getting the most out of his pieces. His PHX squads had other playmakers and individual talent that they still had a shot when the game was slower. In a half court game, the high octane Rockets are just as dull offensively as OKC.

Jordan had a pretty amazing supporting cast

He's scoring 16 points per game on .526 shooting this post season.

"not a particularly good one". Yeah, sure.
