Officers Shot in Baton Rouge, LA (v2)

What is CRT?
Critical Race Theory. It's what these SJW retards believe. It's their worldview.
CRT recognizes that racism is engrained in the fabric and system of the American society. The individual racist need not exist to note that institutional racism is pervasive in the dominant culture. This is the analytical lens that CRT uses in examining existing power structures. CRT identifies that these power structures are based on white privilege and white supremacy, which perpetuates the marginalization of people of color. CRT also rejects the traditions of liberalism and meritocracy. Legal discourse says that the law is neutral and colorblind, however, CRT challenges this legal “truth” by examining liberalism and meritocracy as a vehicle for self-interest, power, and privilege. CRT also recognizes that liberalism and meritocracy are often stories heard from those with wealth, power, and privilege. These stories paint a false picture of meritocracy; everyone who works hard can attain wealth, power, and privilege while ignoring the systemic inequalities that institutional racism provides.

Intersectionality within CRT points to the multidimensionality of oppressions and recognizes that race alone cannot account for disempowerment. “Intersectionality means the examination of race, sex, class, national origin, and sexual orientation, and how their combination plays out in various settings.”[1] This is an important tenet in pointing out that CRT is critical of the many oppressions facing people of color and does not allow for a one–dimensional approach of the complexities of our world.

Just want to express my gratitude for this thread, as it is, by far, the most informative I've found while reading up on this event. [Same applies to V.2 thread.]

A squeaky wheel will always get greased. I am concerned, however, that with the increase in senseless violence, that the issues of Police brutality and the state of America's inner cites will be drowned out by gunshots and racial epithets. I echo the thoughts of others in that I believe things will get worse before they get better. Wish it didn't have to be this way, but here we are. May we grow stronger from it!

RIP to the murdered Police, earlier today. May God rest their souls, bless their families in the wake of this horrendous event.

EDIT: A little comedy before bed to take the edge off. Bob Nelson:

Long is described as a 29-year-old black male that served in the Marine Corps. He reportedly shot at the cops on his birthday, July 17. The Los Angeles Times has described Long as a “black separatist,” but the source did not elaborate. The information reportedly comes from Long’s social media sites, where he had shown interest in black separatist groups.

CBS News reports that he left the Marine Corps in 2010 with an honorable discharge. His final Marine rank was E-5.

Long was a former student of the University of Alabama and was listed as a Deans List student in 2010.

He filed for divorce from his wife in 2011 according to Missouri court records.

We had a real Civil Rights struggle in this country many years ago, but this current one is mostly pretend.

No idea if this shooter(s) is associated with BLM...

But if BLM did not push its anti-cop/anti-white agenda (and the media + president didn't follow along), would these police assassinations be happening?

I doubt it.

It's one thing to bring awareness to something. It's quite another to incite hate and violence.

(I posted this after reading the discussion of BLM in the previous thread)

Critical race theory is a subset of the larger critical theory which is based on Marxist theory

All these Marxist rooted theories permeate all the identity group movements (LGBT, Feminism, race based groups) being pumped in the universities.

As with the original Marxist theory it is largely based around oppression and revolution.

So, looking at past Marxist revolutions you can see where it leads (Bolshevism, Maoism)

No evidence that he's associated with BLM, it's more like they have very similar ideological underpinnings but he then took violence into his own hands. Not that BLM hasn't done that - just look at their last protest in Minnesota where police were targeted for violence. But there's no direct line connecting the shooter to the BLM movement.

Should be called the "what can we find straight white men guilty of theory". Unfortunately that title doesn't roll off the tongue, and is far from catchy.

I'm a huge Baroque lute fan. Check out this TRT lute:

Fascinating.

If someone would have told me yesterday that I was going to watch a few minutes of enormous Baroque lute music in the near future, I would have called them a liar. They need to cover the Ride The Lightning album.

At what point in ones lute career does one go "self, I'm a gonna need a yuuuge lute"?

For the victims.

Kayleigh seems to be pretier everyday this one of the reasons I still watch CNN.
I hope if trumps win he gives her a good cabinet possition I likw watching her talk.

In the modern Marxist theory, the dreaded white male takes the place of the Bourgeoisie. So in Russia the revolution was conducted on class lines, and now it is more racial and gender lines.

It is rather difficult to foment a Marxist revolution when there is a large middle class so the old formula needed tweaking and now we have the end result of that work pushing into the universities.

It's the same game, different package.

The very sad, ironic, subconscious sleight of hand that goes on here, is that a few psychopathic murderers do not represent the protesters, even most of the truly retarded ones are not violent; and a few horrific cops do not represent most of the police departments across the country, even most of the shitty cops are not looking to kill people.

Unfortunately, a lot of people get sucked into believing one of those two false sides anyway. And while 'perception is reality' is a gross overstatement of a cliche, there is some truth to it.

Thanks for the response.
Yeah, when you hear buzzwords like "systemic racism," "white supremacy," and "white privilege," they're probably coming from a CRT-based belief. Once you learn the terminology, hearing other people say it should immediately raise red flags to their credibility.

Don't forget this guy believed in gang-stalking. That's an immediate tip-off that he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
______________________________________________________________________--

Another video on Long’s Youtube account is of a man named Myron May discussing a conspiracy theory called gang-stalking.

People who believe they are victims of gang-stalking — they call themselves “targeted individuals” — believe that groups of government agents are tracking them at all times and attempting to manipulate their actions.

In Nov. 2014 May shot three people at the Florida State University library before being fatally shot by police. It was later revealed that May, who was black, believed that he was being stalked by government agents.

Long believed he was also a “targeted individual.” In one Internet posting discussing gang-stalking, Long offered what he said were solutions for people who believed they were victims of gangstalking.

He wrote:

Lets all start:
1. Wearing Body Camera’s

2. Before you move into neighborhood, put every house on notice to what gang stalking is with link’s to websites & videos & program names. And Let them know your situation, standing & your philosophy on life

3. Start telling the companies’s, worker’s, & managers & owners that we are going to expose your involvement and rate your poor performances & games on the internet on sites like Yelp, Google Map’s & the Yellow Pages etc. as horrible service & accessories to Gang Stalking. (Not only will this spread the word to others who view the businesses, but will inform fellow T.I.s as well)
