- Thomas Almedia (20-0, 4-0 UFC)

- Aljamain Sterling (12-0, 4-0 UFC)

- Cody Gardbradnt (8-0, 3-0 UFC)

- Jimmie Rivera (19-1, 3-0 UFC)

- Luke Sanders (11-0, 1-0 UFC)

Of these 5 monsters coming up in the 135 pound division, who do you think will go the farthest? For me it's -

Almedia
Garbradnt
Rivera
Sterling
Sanders

In that order

No love for Aljo?

I've never seen Sanders so I can't judge, but for me, id rank em:
1. Sterling
2. Almeida
3. Cody
4. Rivera

Almeida and Sterling at 1 and 2... just can't decide which order.... okay, fine...

1.) Almeida
2.) Sterling
3.) Rivera
4.) Gabradnt
5.) Col Sanders... oh was this one not about KFC?

Depends on the matchups they get.

Comparing them to the current top of the heap at BW (Cruz, Faber, Dillashaw) Sterling, Rivera, and Sanders have the most potential, in that order. Not a knock on Garbrandt but... what is another affa male gonna do?

being brazilian and all, i'm biased for almeida. but i still think aljamain can sub him

Sterling over Almeida IMO

I feel like Almeida is very hittable, TJ or Cruz would take advantage of that
Codie would probably loose against Almeida and Aljo too
Jimmie doesn't have the explosive of the others mentioned, and Sanders is well rounder but I don't see him beating some of the others

Sterling could be a future champ, to bad he's in Cruz's division

Sterling will be BW champ in a year or so IMO.

The progress he has made since having his first fight in 2011 is astounding. He's fast, solid striking, 2 time D3 wrestling champ and his BJJ game has looked almost unstoppable.

He would give Almeida all sorts of trouble with his wrestling.

After him I would say:

2. Almeida
3. Sanders (looked great at FW taking out a very tough Maximo Blanco)
4. Rivera
5. Garbrandt (just can't shake that fight against Henry Briones to rate him any higher)

Mini JBJ
Almeida
Jimmy
Luke
Cody

I don't have a lot of faith in Gabrandt at all.

Almeida and Sterling could both win the belt

It's a toss up between Almeida and Sterling.

But I think that Sterling has slightly more potential just because from what we've seen so far, Almedia's striking defense needs some work...it could stunt his potential greatly if he doesn't take care of it before going up against the higher ranked fighters.
