to me shows like this one or Jersey shores, are just drivel. I actually feel stupider after even seeing even like 2 or 3 mins of a show and before anyone says don't watch it then, know that I don't watch them and the only time I see them are at someone else's house. I just can't understand how anyone can think that these shows are anywhere close to reality, between editing, music and as far as I'm concerned straight up scripting what is real about it?

I guess my problem with these type of shows (reality) is, they seem to glorify pettiness, vanity, obnoxiousness, stupidity, any sort of conflict etc so forth. That said if you like these type of things by all means watch away.
