This one should be posted in Vega's as a possible bet, because who knows what direction it could take.

I'm sure he will keep the nice stock option but I have my doubt On how long harmony will rein between the new owners and Dana's past way of operating. I guess it really comes down to if they value his run off at the mouth attitude as a value or a hiderance to the brand.

Previously, from my perspective other than a few major issue Dana wasn't really told to wrangle it in. A lot of this had to do with the close relationship he had with the owners and the fact that the Wild West attitude got attention when the brand was young. But that not the case anymore so after a few corporate directives to tone it down or read from the cards I don't see the two sides gelling. Dana will likely insist his way is working and he's got other people interests in his talents so the owners should value him. Then the owners will outline their expectations of Dana if he want to remain which based on his personality I'm not sure he will be able follow long term. Leading to one of the parties looking to part ways.

What's do you give the odds of Dana staying on over a year as UFC President at?

He will be one bad rant away from being release/buyout.

Meltzer said weeks ago that both bidders had conditions that Dana stays on for an X amount of time in their bids.
that is normal, so the new owners can adjust to things and learn the day in/outs of operating a unique company.
Whenever that contractual commitment ends, I expect its a great chance Dana leaves.

I can't imagine him being there more than a year.

I actually think he has a passion and ego to feed and will be there for a long time. I can imagine he is being paid handsomely plus a % so why would he leave??

Dan Quinn.

He'll be living out out his years in Brocks Canadian Compound basement in a coke induced paranoia like Buddy Aces Israel.

Well it is likely that it won't be his idea that it's time for him to move on to other interests. His Twitter, Interview, and even UFC official conference rants I'm guessing are not always going to be what the new brass is wanting to hear. At over a $4bill price tag I don't think they are looking for the same edgy and controversial Dana rants that helped a fledgling Zuffa UFC company garner attention.

I hope to fuck he's gone soon.

They've turned Zuffa into a joke.

This is what I feel as well. A transitional period of 1-2 years most likely imo.

I say 3 to 1 he leaves due to him not being stay within their parameters.

Pretax he'll make almost $400M from the buyout. That is some serious Fuck you money. If he wants to stay, he'll stay. The new org needs him even if Sherdog doesn't think so. If he wants to go buy an island and drink mai tai's on the beach surrounded by hot young pussy, he'll do that. Settle down you goofs, it's Dana Fucking White.

Most likely there is a buyout clause after a time period. Once someone else gets familiar with how the Operational side of things are run etc....

Also, Dana just does the bidding a of the majority owners of the company....

He's basically Roger Goodell...
Collectively we may hate, despise, become infuriated by, not understand what he is doing as a whole when it comes to the handling of the UFC. But he is the outward face of the decisions management makes.

The new owners may need him to make the transition smoother.... But he is off to the NFL as soon as he legally can.....

Bigger, better, play ground....

I see him lasting 3 years at least. I wonder if his contract details will get leaked.

More fans & fighters like him than don't
Don't go by Sherdog

Dana is a VERY unique commodity in the MMA landscape. If the new owners are smart, they'll try their best to keep him.
