This got lost in the chaos. Khabib has looked sickly for a couple of days now. Someone in the commission and not a doctor telling a fighter to stop his cut WTF. On what grounds. And I mean if he misses weight we would have still gotten him fighting khabib but would have kept fielder vs Al. If there isn’t something more to this the NYSAC is just on a weird power trip.

Iaquinta not getting sanctioned for a title fight because of 0.2 lbs is ridiculous, he weighed in with his pants on, that means if he had dropped his pants he would've been on championship weight and the commission knows.

Yeah but Al didn’t know he was going to be needing to make 155 at the time Pettis was taking the fight. So right after he weighed in he immediately started rehydrating. He probably figured he of all people would get the offer. Not allowing Felder who made champ weight because he wasn’t ranked to fight for the title was them on a clear power trip. Joe Soto fought TJ for a title unranked...it’s been done.
