I reserve judgement untill I know the race of the individuals involved.
That is sick... We have a similar retarded law in my country.
I can't even understand the logic behind that law or why that law exists does this benefit the people in power the only one who will benefit from that absurd law are the criminals the Rapists,Child Molesters, etc,
That law is just empowering criminals
BAD GUY1: " Hey I guess we can enter Mr.Smiths house he got a cute 16 year old we can rape"
BAD GUY2: Errr but Mr.Smith has a gun.!!
BAD GUY1: nahh He can't shoot at us unless we shoot him first so we are just going to tackle him and you hold him off while I sodomize his cute daughter.
I read your post, then looked at your AV, then I started laughing uncontrollably.
Great job, kind sir, great job.
Come on. There ain't no burglary. It's beef or they trying to jack them for drugs. Who goes robbing a house with 5 people and with guns. Even home invasions is usually a single or two man job
I'm sure the fact that the defendant's name is Youssef Abdelgawad isn't helping him much but it seems to me the ambiguity is resulting from the fact that the intruder died in a car across the street and thus its not clear when and where he got shot. Could've been shot on the retreat, in the home brandishing his weapon, or somewhere in between..
This logic fails because it assumes a father gives a "f" about the law when such an act is going down.
Whatever happened to Qu
Or he could've been shot while moving to a better position such as a car from which to continue firing. As they already demonstrated a willingness to fire upon people in their own home, I don't see how it is unreasonable to presume this was their plan, or reasonable to require someone to presume otherwise.
This argument about "retreating" is stupid once they opened the door and shot into the goddamned house. They can either throw up their hands and surrender, or else take their chances getting shot from that point on. I suppose if the guy had surrendered or was clearly trying to and the dude executed him, then it might be a murder situation (though not manslaughter). But I rather doubt that is how it went down.
Boggles the mind
You could be sleeping peacefully in your own home and someone breaks into your house and pulls a gun on you, he winds up dead and you're in prison.
US has the absolute weirdest laws.
He's only been charged. No way a jury convicts him, IMO.
Yeah, but why are they even charging him. What is the point. It's bloody evil to charge the guy. Scummy cops and attorneys.
Yeah, that part's messed up. Not sure why he was charged at all. Maybe there's more to the case than what was shown in the video. Seems pretty straight forward though.
