Law NY AG James with another W - Jury orders Wayne LaPierre to pay back NRA misused funds

To preempt the foaming at the mouth breathers, James is actually helping the NRA here. LaPierre and a couple others were fleecing the NRA.
That isn't a good thing, the NRA is an ineffective organization that actually benefits from fearmongering donations when a gun law is passed. Which gun law has the NRA successfully repealed in the last 50 years? Literally zero. Worse grifters than your average union rep, an organization that by all metrics actually hurt gun right in the US.

James on the other hand, doesn't have a single "W" as she is an obviously, overtly corrupt DA litigating a purely political case regarding a victimless crime that mouthbreathers root for because they can't get over a TV show host beating Hillary Clinton in an election.

So, LaPierre should have been left to use the donation money to the NRA for his personal use and lavish lifestyle? Like the megachurch grifters?

What is this "victimless" crime you speak of?

The case was decided due to rampant, unrepentant and well documented fraud.

"overinflating property values" which is done every day in every real estate deal on the planet.
The bank did their due dilligence, loaned him the money, which he paid back with interest. In fact, not a single one of the banks wanted to file a claim when the AG was already prosecuting him. Why's that?
Because they aren't fucking morons and realize this is political persecution, full stop, and anyone believing otherwise should get their head checked before they drive or operate any heavy machinery.

Except for the part where it literally wasn't, and the "rampant fraud" of inflating square footage is so ubiquotous in NYC, that there are entire video series documenting them. If you were correct (you aren't), then every single property developer in NYC would owe millions.

Here is someone who actually knows what they are talking about (not you), a property developer in NYC who has actually had to deal with this issue for 15 years from every single space he's ever gone to look into buying/leasing, explaining why this entire case is fucking moronic.

So, instead of asking why all these developers are getting away with breaking the law, you want to excuse Donald because everyone else is doing it.

I have been watching Louis's YT channel for years; so I am aware of how NYC property owners inflate square footage. Inflating by 10% or 20% is one thing but Trump took it to another level.

Saying everyone does it doesn't cut it; cause in that case a heckva of a lot of people can be excused away for fraud and crimes. Bob Menendez can be excused for having gold bars because one could argue most politicians are corrupt.

Since he became President banks will shy away from taking him to court fearing the repercussions from the rightwing and GOP.

Some people and companies will let some level of fraud and theft against them slide because it is too much of a hassle and expense to go after the perp. It came out last year, or the year before, that the IRS doesn't go after the super rich like they do other people because it takes up too much time and money to fight the super rich.

Trump has been stiffing contrators for decades and been getting away with it. Heck he even stiffed Rudy for some of his lawyer fees. Trump getting this ruling is his just deserts. The Feds wanted to nail Al Capone, but had a tough time getting the evidence. In the end they got him on tax evasion. Trump is a rip-off artist and con-man and anytime such a person gets justice it is welcomed..

This isn't a victimless crime. He underpaid taxes by a large amount.

The NRA needs to rebuild and get back to their primary goals.

It is about time. Wayne was a clothes horse that used donations so he could be a sharp dressed man.
Also every girl likes a sharp dressed man.

The NRA could turn this into a plus and nominate someone who has a strong rep of not being a grifter, and use that person as the face while admitting the last guy was a grifter and we will do better. Of course that will never happen because the grifting culture has been in place for many years at the NRA.
