I would agree Foamy, except he's supposed to be portraying a combat athlete who was a champion for over a year; not my nephew when someone takes away his blanky. I'm for outlawing punches in wrestling again, partly because stuff like that never looks convincing. I'm also old and full of curmudgeon!

I feel the same way about triangle chokes in wrestling, in that the hold never looks to be locked in properly. The legs always look too loose...

Finally got to watch the show...I'm kinda underwhelmed...I usually really enjoy Takeovers...this was kind of just there.
The tag match was ok...they're trying to hard to be cute with Hanson doing moves big guys can't do...an most of them look crappy at this point. Black's springboard backflip sit down spot is really dumb. The y should have shaved this match down some...got rid of the big guys does crappy version of little guy spots and stuck to the hard hitting stuff...it would have been better.
Riddle vs Dream was pretty good. Riddle is awesome...it kind of dragged in the middle though. The beat down on Dream just kept going...I started checking out...I mean...Hulk up already Dream. They picked it up at the end though and it was a fun match. I don't like the roll back a choke move to get the pin spot...especially with Riddles finish having a single leg ride...but it was still a fun match. I wish Dream would have dropped the leg when he Hulked up. That would have been great.
I liked the woman's match a lot more than I thought I would. I would say it was one of the best two matches on the show with the Riddle & Dream match. Good stuff...the only lame part was that stupid tower of doom spot. Why do they keep doing those? They suck. Really good match though...whomever booked this did a great job highlighting everyone's strong points, and no one was really exposed for their weak points. Io is hot. Great match....sports entertained...good for you ladies!
UK Title match...I didn't really care for this one either. Walter must be the new Lars Sullivan...a good old 1940's throwback tough guy look to him. It just drug out way too long...wasn't bad but it wasn't very exciting either.
Cole vs Gargano...I am disappointed. I really expected this to be awesome. I don't know what was up with the first fall...it's like both guys were moving in slow motion for the first third of the match. I understand it's supposed to pick up later...but this was ridiculous. They made a really big deal out of the count out being a thing between the first and second fall...then when it's tied up and Gargano could won the title by count out...the announcers forget that's a thing and the ref waits a good two minutes for Cole to turn the tables on Gargano before he even starts counting. I hate shit like that...it insults your intelligence while your watching. It's like they think the audience has an attention span of less than 5 minutes and will forget major points of the match as soon as we go to the next spot. Then again...listening to the crowd I guess most of the audience does. I just can't stand when they forget continuity during a match. I ended up fats forwarding halfway between the second fall and the finish because I was bored...I'd like to see Undisputed on Smackdown...maybe the next shakeup will make that happen.
