Predictions.
Femi vs Saints - NXT has an Oba problem. There isn't anyone on the roster that really seems like a credible threat to him. Ricky shouldn't be the one to take the title from him, at least not as a babyface. If they decided to turn Ricky (I'm not sure if the NXT crowd would really be on board) and maybe align with Dark State I could see them making the switch.
Pick - Oba retains
Jacy vs Lola - I'm not looking forward to this match at all. Jacy has been "ok" as the women's champ, but there were much better options to dethrone Vaquer for the title. That being said, Lola might have an ass but she's also complete ass in the ring. Her whole presentation is just weird and would be better off turning back heel. With her recent re-signing and the foray into AAA, this one seems pretty obvious who's winning.
Pick - Lola Vice
Page vs Heights - You have the greatest North American ever vs Heights. I actually see some upside to Tavion but he's got a long way to go still. Ethan on the other hand has been pretty much money his whole run in NXT, and there looks to be a program developing in AAA for him too. Unless NXT is looking to enter into a full-on reset with the roster I don't see a title change here.
Pick - EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grace vs Monroe - Will we finally see a bit more of the May in Monroe here? I highly doubt they will go full on AEW with this match for brutality, but I do expect Blake to flash a bit more of her Mariah side. Grace has been a disappointment in NXT. Most of her matches have been fairly bland and forgettable, and she's really not even shown out in her multiple title matches. I think a call up would do her good since the women there are all pretty much more experienced and I believe would be better partners. However, do they really have her lose 3 PLE's in a row?
Winner - Toss up. I guess I'll say Grace wins and the feud continues.
Je'Von vs Briggs - Briggs has had some surprisingly good matches on PLE's, but they are usually in triple threats and with bigger opponents. He just can seem to get a gimmick that works for him. Might be time to reunite with Jenson. Lord knows the tag division needs the help. Je'Von is just so fun to watch and he's going to be bumping like a madman for Briggs. He just got through with having a banger of a match with Sami on Smackdown, and I expect him to keep up that momentum here.
Winner - Evans
Sol vs ??? - Sol wins (I forgot to predict this before the card started, and then Laine got hurt).
