What's shocking? it's quite true if you have any ability to look at their careers objectively.

One fought 16 warmups and won a belt against the #14 guy in the division. Had all kinds of issues making weight and fought stylistic cakewalks until he won the belt. Khabib has >50% tomato cans on his record. 13 fights in the bigs. The whole thing was a pick mate, I know it's hard to deal with.

And Royce, well we don't need to talk more about already well known dodges of guys like Ruas early on, or the laughable rulesets and stipulations they tried imposing every fight to garner an advantage.

You should close that piehole up and do some more reflection!

We don't know, Dana doesn't typically release that info unless he has beef with somebody. He cherry picked strikers after the first 16 cans and avoided prime Ferguson. Won the belt off a literal nobody. His career is really thin now that the fanboyism has settled and people can objectively look at what happened. Great fighter, don't get me wrong. Just a huge what if that when looked at objectively, has a very weak career path that appears hesitant and advantageous.

And no. You can't come around here being cantankerous and accuse a fighter of cherry-picking fights when you can't even provide a definite example of fighters he's actively ducked (Prime Ferguson eh? Because Khabib is totally, solely responsible for the many cancellations, no?)

Dude retired undefeated, was utterly dominant, and is one of the GOATs in the sport. Deal with it and you may just yet be a little less ornery.
