As someone that trained with both I disagree. Boxing gloves has more mass yes but with MMA gloves it's easier to accelerate, the punches come more sudden/unexpected and speed is what kills. Especially with a chick that has less fast twitch muscle to get velocity into a punch compared to an athletic male it's even more a factor.

Lol the fact that you're not understanding the point I'm making shows that you have no idea about actual combat. I'm actively training and have so for several years. If you don't believe it, that's your bad. Go to your next gym if you don't have the balls to go to a dojo. Grab a heavy boxing glove and hit the heavy bag for a few minutes, then try an MMA glove.
