2 years ago, most of Sherdog would have said that Cyborg would murder this youtuber boxing, but Nunes couldn't ? There is an enormous, massive skill gap between pros and athletic people. Hours a day and years of training vs a few hours a week for 2 years? Unless its a pure strength event, I'll take the pro every time in any sport.

Fair enough, but that was a clinch fest. That dude was holding to make sure he didn’t get hit much. I also don’t believe YouTube dude is training as much as he says. He’s fit - there’s no denying that, but did his boxing look skilled/good? No way. It was serviceable because his opponent was worse.

"world class" fighting ability of Nunes, please remember how her did against GDR...im not saying Jake Paul is at GDR level, but he is way bigger than both of them, both fight at 135, its 30lbs, easy, is he that skilled? no, but skilled enough to KO nunes, to KO Claressa Shields? thats a different story, thats a boxer, Nunes is an MMA fighter, she looks great against soccer moms who weigh as much or less than her, he isnt a world boxing champ or anything, but Nunes isnt either, i would give Shields much better chances but i would still not put money on that.

Jake Paul is between 5'10-5'10.5 , while Clarissa Shields is listed in 2020 as 5"10. Shields has said in the past she walks around at 183. Jake Paul weighed in at 189 for the Nate fight.

Jake Paul when all is said and done at best is an inch taller and 5-10 pounds heavier. How would you not put money on her, a double olympic gold medalist and p4p womens #1, against a vlogger with no athletic background.

It would not even be safe to sanction a professional fight between her (p4p #1 female fighter) versus JP (vlogger).

I am not a womens boxing fan but I think the chances of her literally killing him during the fight are greater than him winning. I'm not going to call you sexist, thats too simplistic, but you don't seem to respect olympic gold medals very much.

And you could also apply the same logic to weight divisions, if mid tier / regional / journeymen heavyweights could beat elite ranked featherweights, why have a featherweight in the UFC at all ? I thought Sherdoggers were all 6"5 225, I didn't realize a 5"10 180 pound 24 year old male with no amateur or professional sports background is a very big worldbeater.

Nunes is also quite tall and likely walks around near the same weight as JP.
