Literally a slap in the face not only to these great legends, but to the fans who built the UFC into what it is.

Lol @ anyone who supported this garbage.

Title fight vs non relevant contenders..title fight gets top billing regardless of who .. Its just how the business works

Title fight > Two old men

If you want to watch two old men fight as the main event I hear Bellator has an event coming up soon

I definitely would've taken Gastelum/Jacare as Main over it. Then we could have seen who could gut it out for 5 rounds instead of the 3 rounds they had. As far as the main card, that turned out to be the best scrap of the night in my opinion.

There are exceptions though, and this should have been an exception.

For example, if Brock came back for a non title fight, and the Nunes-Pennington title fight was on the same card....who do you think would get top billing?

Well obviously by default. You could've complained about Dern vs Cooper being over it instead you goof

Title fight then brock... Its in the contracts as champion you get the top billing spot only other title fights can beat u out so if there was 3 title fights lets say nunes would be the third or first to go..not even co main..its part of the PPV sharing agreement as well

I could be wrong, but I could swear I've seen exceptions to that rule before.
