The reason why I brought up the quote was because this thread is trying (and failing) to make gun owners look bad. It's what Holder wants you to do everyday. He wants you to brainwash people into thinking they're not acceptable.

Guns don't need to be "cool" to be useful. They're tools. I don't need other people to think something I find useful is cool in order for it to be useful. The only attitude I care that people do have towards guns is respect. If that means making them "uncool" then whatever. I'm not in favor of a ban, very far from it, but I am in favor of society changing the perception such that immature idiots aren't shooting themselves or others trying to be cool on World Star.

Guns are cool. I've heard people say that's a cool looking gun many times. It's not cool to do stupid shit with guns.

I disagree. Again, just because they aren't viewed as a "cool" or "hip" or whatever term you want to use doesn't mean they lack usefulness. You're equating their usefulness with being cool, and if we make them uncool they'll go away. But they exist in the first place, not as fashion accessories, but as tools.
