...how incredible of Robert Whittaker it was for him to beat Yoel Romero of people with a f—— up knee.

First off, I think we can all agree that a knee injury is one of the worse things that could happen to a fighter. Now talk about such an injury happening right at the beginning of the most important fight in your career.

Now, one more thing I think we can all agree upon is this: Yoel Romero is one hell of a fighter. I think it's pretty much undeniable at this point, whether you love him or hate him, that Romero is an absolute ANIMAL. I mean... just take a look at the guy.

So here's what happened: not only Robert Whittaker did not quit when he had to fight off one leg only, he also went on to decisively beat an undefeated beast in Yoel Romero.

That's how you know greatness when you see it.

WAR BOBBY KNUCKLES!

Yep, hes a credit to New Zealand.

One of the most likable champs ever

always excited for his fights

remember him fucking up Colton Smith with the Philly shell years ago

Has he beat Aldo in furteen seconds though?

no and he also didnt get choked out by the number 8 ranked fighter in his weight class.
But he did lose to Wonderboy in rd 1.

The circle is complete...

Bobby Knuckles will go down as an all time great in this sport

Yoel beat himself as much as Robert won that fight.

I can see where you're coming from, and I respect your opinion. I do.

That being said, if we're playing that game, we can say the exact same thing for every fighter in each one of their losses in the history of the sport.

Take the test.

"_________ beat himself as much as _________ won that fight."

Works every time.

I Seent it live, one of my favorite fights I have seen in person. I lost my voice so badly I couldnt talk for 2 days. Straight war.

I need to watch it again with commentary, havent seen it since.

It was a sprained mcl & he didn't even need surgery on it. Not that big of a deal

He was winning while he was fighting, he quit fighting for 2 rounds then came back strong in the 5th and was winning until he went down.

Too bad we never saw left hook larry vs bobby knuckles.

Robert Whittaker is a straight fucking beast. The #1 underrated fighter by casuals. Looking forward for Saturday when he mops the floor with Yoel.
