Now That The UFC Has To Have Title Fights Headline PPVs Isn't It Time For More Weight Classes?

Didn't the last PPV feature Gaethje-Poirier in a non title fight? I don't want more weight classes, but if they did add one, I would add one between MW and LHW. Weight classes are fine the way they are though, for me.
They fought for the "BMF" title

Needs women heavyweight. And men’s super heavyweight

That makes sense what you're talking about with the current system where it goes up by 10 lbs, then 15 lbs and then 20. But if you're adding a weight class that is not possible anymore. You can't go from 155 to 160 and 170.....or 155 to 165 and 170. A 5 lb difference is useless. You have to adjust the current system. Even in boxing where they have way more weight classes it still goes from 140 to 147 to 154 to 160 to 168.
Right, but those are still all increasing as they go.

I'm not saying DON'T change the current weights when adding a 165, I'm just straight up saying 10 pound differences for 80 pounds in a row is ridiculous. If you're already changing classes, it'd have to be like a full overhaul. Like: 125 - 133 - 142 - 153 - 165 - 177 - 190 - 205 - 225 - 265 or something.

I mean, I didn't math it out, but that's off the top of my head what I mean

Yah, that would work too. I was just going by the system they have now. I figured why make major changes. Most weight classes are 10 lbs part until 170. 165 was the only weight class that was actually being considered adding. But then 170 doesn't make much sense cause it's too close.

Can't name the current champs. Cut it down to 6 weight classes. Women can stay, but they can only fight after the event is over and cameras are off. Equality an all. 6 PPVs a year, all names have to have 50% poll recognition or they are not eligible to be on main card.
wMMA needs their own ppv cards. Finally the men fights will quit watering down their cards.

Good ideas on the male side. Above 225 is super HW with no weight limit. Keep the female 135 but make the current 145 HW with a 165ish limit.
135+ is basically the same thing as 145+. Bantamweight would still be 135.

No. Having more weight classes is a horrible idea. MMA doesn't have the talent pool to do that.

No even close. 145 existed for Cyborg. There weren’t any other legit 145ers do it was a round robin of 135ers going up for a 1 off fight. Ditch 145 or make it a more open weight.

So what you literally mean to say is. Reward the weight cutting fucks by abiding by the thing? Give the least a whole division of their own.

I just want them to get rid of girl FWs. There's not enough girls signed for it and no champ.

Get rid of that, bring in AW girls and just go crazy signing them all.

Does anyone who was watching MMA when there was 5 divisions think the UFC is better now? I doubt many would

More divisions means even more watered down product. The UFC today is garbage, and you want to turn it into something even worse? If every PPV needs a title fight then how about champs not sitting out for a year or two or they lose their belt? More weight classes is a terrible idea when 2/3 of the roster is a bunch of no names.
