Now that Ronda's been beaten, can Miesha beat her?

There's a lot of psychological dominance Ronda had over her opponents because she had such a long, and undefeated streak. You think Miesha has a better chance now that Ronda doesn't have that psychological advantage?

That, and is it possible for her to actually play her strengths in the fight. Holm & Tate should train together to try and make certain RRR doesn't get the belt back, if that would even help

Meisha was out striking Ronda in their fights and lost by having a low Fight IQ and taking Ronda down when she had her hurt and getting reversed. If she just kept it standing could have won.



Tate can beat Rousey if she follows the game plan of keeping it standing. She's always had all the tools.

This. Ronda is human now. Hardly anyone on these forums gave Miesha a chance vs Holly and look what happened. Miesha's confidence is probably sky high. Cupcake andstill.

I think Miesha can beat Ronda. Miesha is the toughest athlete in the division, bar none. She has the mental game. Those two attributes would be enough to overcome the skill deficit and defeat a mentally changed Ronda. Based upon her public statements, I gather Ronda has not matured from her trouncing and will be a different fighter from now on.

Miesha will probably lose again. Personally, I think Miesha should have been mostly working on striking with pro strikers since Ronda got the belt, but last time Ronda actually got the better of the striking. Miesha will always lose to Ronda on the ground, and it puzzled me as to why Miesha has tried to take Ronda down. If Miesha tries to fight in the clinch and on the ground, she will lose. Miesha has talked up her right hand recently, but I don't think her striking has improved enough to defeat Ronda standing. Much of the time Miesha seemed to try her scrappy wrestler approach, which was disastrous because it puts her in a position in which Ronda has the advantage. Ronda doesn't seem to exactly have masterminds for coaches, so there is a possibility Miesha can win if she uses a better strategy and comes out with sharper striking. I have my doubts, though.

That's how I remeber it, Miesha cracked Ronda a few times good and hard and she wasn't losing the fight, she just got caught while grappling.
