Now Severn has left the bizarre AZ card

Oh god, Ritch and Harvey are rematching? Those guys are ancient and they weren't ever very good in their primes.
 
Why wouldn't they pony up the same amount of money they'd give Ken and give it to Hershel Walker or James Toney (if Severn would take that)?

Ken wasn't getting 1M
and Herschel doesn't want to work with fly by night orgs. He's likely going to appear in Bellator.
 
So disappointed, especially after Severn already posted promising to "strip down" and show us the body of a 58 year old man that works out. Now we don't even get the Severn pole dance.

Where I come from, if a senior citizen promises to show you his mostly naked retired body, he follows through dammit.

He said there were three guys he would have come out of retirement for. Ken was one of them and only agreed to fight Tank because he gave his word to the promotion or felt obligated ( something around those lines ) .

The Ken match fell through very close to fight time ... he agrees to fight Tank ... that also doesn't work out. Can't blame anyone for pulling out after that.

Kind of funny when you think about it that after all these years of MMA history, Hershel is the only one in 2016 that is "worthy" of being in Bellator.
 
Shows like this always end up being a clusterfuck. No idea why promoters even bother, or why people get excited. Almost guaranteed to fall through every time.

Hershel Walker makes 1 MM to fight? Since when? He also said he would only fight for UFC and Bellator only?

The only interesting thing about Ritch is all of the fighters in different weight classes he's lost to over the years. Dan Severn (twice), Diego Sanchez, Sakuraba, Brian Ebersole, Jake Shields, Benji Radach, Yves Edwards, Joe Riggs, Shonie Carter, Jose Landi-Jones, Antonio McKee, etc.

No, James Toney got 1M to fight.

Yes, Hershel has said he's only fighting for Coker or the UFC before.
 
You know, "bizarre" is the best way I can describe that card. Pro wrestling, MMA, Boxing, and grappling sounds like an administrative nightmare for the State Athletic Commission.
