I can see him beat guys like Dustin and maybe Lee. A win over either guy will make the number one contender immediately.

How do you think Diaz beats Lee? Lee is arguably the best wrestler in the division and Nate sucks at defending takedowns + his BJJ is overrated, he gets most of his subs after hurting people on the feet

we all want "Nate the Great" back !

Him beating Lee? Nah, he's gonna get wrestle-fucked and pummeled worse than Edson and goes back to riding his bike. Lee has more than proved at this point he's in the upper echelon of UFC Lightweights. I see Poirier sparking him too.

Diaz will shake things up yes, but I don't see him beating Lee or Poirier at all, give him Gaethje or Barboza upon return.

Not sure if they win (probably) but Gaethje and Barboza kill him with low kicks

Nate is bad matchup for Conor because Conor gasses in 2 rounds, and Nate has a chin and can take an ass kicking for 2 rounds, maybe 3.
Most top fighters don't gas like Conor.

Conditioning is something that can't be improved past a certain point. either you have like, or you don't. it's why EPO drugs are so popular. they improve something you can't improve naturally.

so, Nate's not really a contender.

Nate survives for 3 rounds then starts pressuring him.

After Kevin gets tired Nate will be a real threat from the bottom and a real threat on the feet.

If Kevin couldn't finish Barboza on the ground, he sure as hell can't finish Nate.

How does that make sense?

Nate is much better than Edson on the ground in every imaginable way. Definitely much better defensively, plus he also offers an offensive threat so Kevin will have to be much more careful with his GNP than he was with Barboza.

Conor gassed out in 2 rounds at Welterweight, about 30 pounds above his usual Weight class. We don't know the kind of gas tank he'll have at 155.

Khabib wants to fight at the end of 2018

Conor? Who knows.

Tony is injured for a while.

Nate coming back now is great. The buildup for Nate and Lee would be awesome. Nate vs. Gaethje would be absolutely nuts too.

he gassed 4 rounds into a boxing match too at 154.
he gassed at 168 pounds without cutting weight. his natural fighting weight.

he doesn't have conditioning. He was dominating Nate and gassed from punching, both fights.

Only way that Nate beats Kevin Lee is if Lee gets confused and suddenly believes he’s a boxer...

Why not do Nate vs Dan Hardy? If Hardy is suppose to come back for one more and wants madison square gardens, then let that happen, guaranteed fireworks.

You don't start pressure after 3 rounds, that's a perfect way to lose the fight.

Nate hasn't fought in 2 years, the blueprint to beat Nate is very clear. He'll probably never beat a relevant Lightweight again
