Lorenzo Fertita used to be a part of the NSAC. The guy was part of a commission that regulates the company he works for now. I may be reading into this all wrong but that seems a bit off to me.

Not to go all tinfoil hat but I honestly think that the UFC hypes and builds their stars by allowing certain users to get passes on their tests. I think that's why Georges left, because they knew he was coming to the end of his shelf life so told him they weren't letting him use anymore, and he tried clean and couldn't hack it vs Hendricks.

I think they just never told Anderson. That's how he pissed hot. I feel like he was using his whole career for them, which is why he looked super human in some fights, and they just decided to test his sample with all the others because he was a fallen star. They had Weidman as champ anyway.

Velasquez, now looking abysmal too. Seems a bit too far'fetched to be true, but the biggest lies are the easiest to swallow. Just food for thought.

I predict your account will survive a long time here...

It all makes sense now

Very old news. Yes, it was shady as f#ck. This is Vegas. Nobody is going to retroactively stop what happened. It is what it is. It's all shady. There was plenty more shadiness throughout the years.

Is that why they let Anderson pop?

GSP left because his body wasn't recovering from the injuries he kept getting, and he had achieved greatness on a grand scale. He didn't have anything left to prove in mma. I disagree with him walking away without an official loss of his title, but I can't say I blame him for wanting to go out still on top.

You disagree with him walking away without a loss or you disagree with the final Dec in hendricks fight?

Both, really. I thought Hendricks won the fight, but GSP got the benefit of the nod in a close fight, as well as the benefit of knowing when he wasn't far and away the best welterweight anymore without having to officially lose to find out.

I never did watch that one again and thought hendricks pulled it off however I can't stand hendricks and I think GSP would smoke him in a rematch.

I wasn't too upset by the decision, after all it was a close fight. I don't think GSP had/has it in him to smoke Hendricks, at least not at the time he fought him, or any time after that. Maybe pre-knee surgeries GSP puts the hurt on Johny, but it's honestly hard to say since Johny has made a career out of being able to make his pretty basic striking work for him.

Until he met Thompson.

Until he met Thompson.

Thompson was able to exploit the fact that Hendricks relies on his striking to set up takedowns, and his takedowns to set up his striking. Hendricks got shut down, and then froze while trying to figure out where the next shot was coming from. Kind of like how alot of Jon Jones' early opponents got caught "watching" him instead of fighting him(Rampage, Rashad, etc etc etc).

Good observation dude.
