i love it how the left's definition of justice quickly moved to "just because he wasn't found guilty doesn't mean he's innocent"

That has literally always been the definition of justice, you dolt. You’re not found innocent in court, you’re found not guilty.

You’re owning the libs so hard.

...and then Barr said the evidence, "is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction of justice offense.”
In his opinion. His opinion is dogshit though, because he believes the President is a King.

The best description I ever heard of Pence is from The Young Turks during their infamous live meltdown on Election Night. When Pence steps up to introduce Trump as President Elect,

"Oh, fuck this guy! Jesus Christ, look, he pulls his skin off and he's like Red Skull from Captain America: First Avenger!"<Dany07>
LOL

We'll have to see when the report gets released, hopefully not too redacted. Mueller was never going to seek an indictment, he couldn't. So right now we only have Barr's word that the evidence for obstruction isn't strong enough for a charge.

I reckon that below the bar for an obstruction charge that would stick there is still room for damaging evidence. Don't think it will change too many minds at this point and the next election dems should probably look forward.

Yeah I think I saw somewhere that very little voters will change their minds about Trump no matter what the results of the probe reveal.

It's going to be the same ones that are always against Trump and those that are FOR Trump.

In other words, just another Sunday. <Moves>

Are you serious?

If he said that and @computer fogie conveniently left it out, then i'm fucking pissed at him A LOT.

Especially with his whole "You don't know what Exonerate means" bullshit.

Well if you care about institutions then yes it was worth it.

If you care about institutions you should be slightly concerned with how a couple of them were possibly weaponized to initiate an attack on a politician they didn’t like and go after anyone and everyone around him

Can you please provide the link before I smash my monitor whenever I read fogle's crap? Thanks.
Mueller said that this area was 'difficult issues of law and fact' as in some shady shit happened that could pertain to obstruction. He left the evidence for Barr to decide on. Barr said the evidence wasn't sufficient for getting a conviction for obstruction to stick.

The Special Counsel therefore did not draw a conclusion — one way or the other — as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction. Instead, for each of the relevant actions investigated, the report sets out evidence on both sides of the question and leaves unresolved what the Special Counsel views as "difficult issues" of law and fact concerning whether the President's actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction. The Special Counsel states that "while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

The Special Counsel's decision to describe the facts of his obstruction investigation without reaching any legal conclusions leaves it to the Attorney General to determine whether the conduct described in the report constitutes a crime. Over the course of the investigation, the Special Counsel's office engaged in discussions with certain Department officials regarding many of the legal and factual matters at issue in the Special Counsel's obstruction investigation. After reviewing the Special Counsel's final report on these issues; consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decisions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel's investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.

That’s 100% not what the Mueller investigation was about.

It’s been posted here countless times. No one is trying to trick you

This was expected, but what needs to happen now is the release of the report.

I disagree here. Trump will pardon everyone who didn't flip, and now the precedent has been established that it's impossible for the President to obstruct justice, or commit crimes. We're all truly fucked.
