Account bets aren't allowed in the War Room Bet Thread, so we went with AV+sig for five years.

Outside of the bet thread, we agreed that it would also be an account bet. I thought this meant he would give me his account upon losing. Other people are saying it means he has to e-suicide. Either way, I think he should be forced to serve his five years.

yeah. I don't really want to see someone lose his account COMPLETELY (see Ripskater), especially an account that has so much history here at Sherdog.

Thanks for sharing. That was in response to Feinstein and firing Comey specifically, pre-report summary. Lets accept Dershowitz argument - I reckon Mueller was talking about more than that issue when he said they are issues paraphrasing here 'difficult as they pertain to fact and law of an obstruction charge.'

Do you admit, that with it being a 'horrible thing to bet on' means it was likely anybody observing this entire debacle was right in saying this whole thing looked fishy from start to finish?

Here's how it happened:

It started as an account bet, but the moderator in the Bet Thread won't enforce those. That's why we went with a five-year AV+sig bet. I still wanted to keep the account bet part informally.

So now we're in a weird situation. Polishheadlock conceded, but he's trying to use the fact that it was an account bet to e-suicide instead of facing the five-year AV+sig bet. The Bet Thread moderator wasn't really sure how to handle this, so he's asking for help from the higher-ups.

To add more confusion, I always thought that 'account bet' means you bet your account. Like

Cash bet = I win and you give me your cash
Sig bet = I win and you give me your sig
Avatar bet = I win and you give me your avatar
Name bet = I win and you give me your account name
Account bet = I win and you give me your account

Other people are saying that 'account bet' just means the loser e-suicides. I still don't know.

It's up to the moderators at this point. Either way, I will now become the War Room Bet Champion when the standings are updated. We get big points for long-term bets like that one. @Jack V Savage is the current champion, but he will have to settle for the #1 contender spot for the indefinite future.
