Jack has had a good career with notable wins over Thales Leites , Ronaldo Souza , Gerald Meerschaert , Kelvin Gastelum , Cliff Curtis and Joe Pyfer - quite impressive resume .

But at 37 with 3 losses by punches in his last 4 fights he is just fighting for a pay cheque now . Can't blame him going for the money , each fight he probably makes 4x what a regular job pays in Norway but the head trauma isn't worth it .

That's not how MMA fighters think. They suffer the most brutal KO of their career and decide to take quick fight and cut 15lbs extra for the first time at age 37

Kinda crazy for Jack though because he never got any KO's on the feet in the UFC his 3 TKO wins are all from ground and pound. The dude was actually a Monster on the ground at one point so why would he stop using it because he coasted to a few decision wins on the feet? It is truly bizarre. It's like Dustin jumping for Guilly's and no Guilly wins. Lol

Anyway, yeah, dropping a weight class when you're 35+ is almost always a horrible idea - you kinda have to be ELITE to do it, not sinking towards being a middle-of-the-pack fighter.
