Not saying Baszler is a good fighter but...

What's with the McMann (Prime)?

Is she out of her prime now? Last I adressed a Mcmann post it was someeone who said she was too green when she fought Ronda...

She just doesn't get the attention of the others. Also, she just lost to Tate. If there was a 125 lb division it would be perfect for her. Getting taken down and controlled on the ground by cupcake when you're an olympic silver medalist doesn't bode well

Why do you say Kaufman (prime)? She's only 29 and hung with the highly touted Eye and destroyed Leslie Smith in her last 2 fights, yeah she's had some injuries and trouble getting fights but I don't think we can definitively say she's out of prime... McMann looked better than I expected against her best opponent besides Ronda in Tate so I don't see it for her yet either.

That does look like an insane schedule with the easiest fight being Bethe, they probably shouldn't have put her in against Nunes after being stopped and looking terrible against Bethe but I guess they wanted her and Kos - late replacement notwithstanding - to be sacrifices to JBG...

She was the first one eliminated from her tuf season, even after being the number 1 pick of her team.

Really confusing with prime Kaufman and MCMann. I thought last fight was Sarah's best performance against easily the second best fighter she has fought. Kaufman has lost a controversial decision to Eye but been a bit inactive as of late.

Why so many threads about her

Because people really really don't like her.

If you are gonna talk the talk, you better walk the walk...Wooooo!

Shayna Baszler is better than she is made to be. She really screwed herself up on TUF, but that doesn't erase her fighting past.

I saw some clips of her not sucking at MMA over the weekend and I could hardly believe it was the same person.

She's either let her training & diet regimen go to complete shit or she's just too worn out with injuries from having been in the sport for so long.

Her last couple outings she's shown nothing by way of strength, speed, footwork, head movement or grappling ability. She's looked like someone pulled from the crowd at the last moment at Fast Eddies.

In the older clips she's actually mobile and almost supplexes someone Khabib style. Night and day difference in output.

It's not that she just lost, it's that she looked absolutely dreadful while doing it. A couple girls at my gym could have put up as much a fight as she did in some of those

It doesn't matter, she was awful last 3 fights. She's fighting in the UFC, do you want me to send you a screenshot with her face after she was taking those punches? Just admit she is an awful fighter.

Then all I can say is I disagree with that poster.I honestly believe the McMann I know could have beat Tate. But she couldn't.So yes imo she's out of her prime compared to how it is 3 years ago

I think your definition of Prime is different than the rest of us :)

He seems like many to be committed to the idea that Tate sucks and if anybody loses to her, it's because they're bad, overrated or past prime instead of Tate being good.

She should be cut! Simple as that! Yes, she is old school, but her time is gone!

So you're saying she's not that bad, she's just been heavily outmatched in every one of her fights. That's the same thing buddy.

This.

Back in the old days she was very dangerous. She has arguably beaten McMann - at least it was a very close fight - and she has completely dominated D'Alelio.
And she was nice and respectful, as far I know.

No I'm saying she's that bad,so that she would face with the worst fighter/s of the division and her form wouldn't look pathetic.I think there are at least 2/3 fighters on the roster she can actually beat.

I'm not saying she is a bad fighter either but she could clearly benefit from attending one of her seminars.

I just tweeted Shayna and recommended a Julianna Pena seminar to help improve in some areas.

She blocked me. lol.

It's more this from what I understand. Her body is pretty much broken down and she can't really train full-ass MMA anymore, kinda like Shogun.
