What happened to the days when I could watch Matt Hughes KO BJ Penn and Royce Gracie?

What happened to the days when I could watch one man punch another man's testicles into oblivion, resulting in the victim becoming a murderer?

Bring back the glory days of UFC when it was a sport in its infancy and randos could fishhook each other and we didnt care about eye poke fouls!
