Not asking if he will, but CAN Rafael Dos Anjos beat Tyron Woodley?

Seems like Dana White is sure RDA is next for the title.

I think the performance RDA had at 170 was impressive against a bomber like Robbie. Granted Lawler was hurt, RDA still showed his gas tank for 5 rounds is there. He has the tools to fight anywhere. He will definitely make Tyron engage and fight.

Thoughts?

He will make Woodley really fight.

And he’ll regret it...

He could out-hustle TWood, for sure. He has a much more busy arsenal than Tyron.

But - He will have to fight a flawless fight, defensively. One bomb from Woodley could shut his lights out.

Yes he most certainly can. RDA will back Woodley up against the cage and force him to fight. Could be a good or bad thing for RDA. This is the next fight that needs to happen at WW.

Good thing Woodley doesn't throw a lot of bombs these days.

Pretty impressed with his fight vs. Robbie even prior to the injury so, yeah, I give him a chance.

He can...If he can dominate Lawler...he can...Tyron got a clean shot at Lawler in their fight...Imagine if he didn't and it was a scrap.

I think it's a great match up, both are short for the division with the thick frame, they have similar strengths but I think it may come down to who has the better chin and that's a tough one to judge. I'd rather RDA win as I hate Woodley for his ranting about racism and his entitlement as champ but I think Woodley most likely wins this one.

Can in the sense that sure anything is possible.

Highly unlikely. He’s gonna be dwarfed

He can and he will. T-Wood will break to the pressure of a man on a mission.

WAR RDA!!!

He sure can... if T-Wood tears his ACL before the fight

agreed, RDA will join the belt in 2 dif weight class club

If RDA manages to keep it on the feet and pressure Tyron with diverse attacks and feints he has a good chance. He'll still be a clear underdog though - Tyron has dynamite in his hands and he's very accurate.

IMO...leg kicks by RDA can put Tyron in trouble...that being Tyron doesn't land some bombs as he throws one leg kick.
