Of course there’s Weidman vs. Silva, Rousey vs. Holm, Aldo vs. McGregor. All those moments made our jaws drop and scream out loud. All those fights were on the biggest stage, hyped, and had a belt on the line.

But what non-title fight knockout made you let out a Rogan, “OHHH!” and jump out your seat.

Maybe it’s cause I’m kinda drunk and just wrote about Rumble in another thread... but thinking back to what he did to Glover at UFC 202 was fucking scary. I remember ordering this card for my brothers party and we had this playing in the backyard. I was telling a few friends that don’t watch MMA much that this guy knocks people out cold and is a scary mofo. I remember almost everybody was watching, then BOOM. And Glover is a tough dude that can take a shot. I just remember shouting, “HOLY SHIT!” out loud. Seeing Glover out cold reaching at the stars with his hands, man that was crazy. People at the party were just kind of staring at the TV in amazement.

That knockout really put Rumble in the discussion for hardest hitter in UFC history in my eyes. To see him dismantle someone as tough as Glover that easy was insane.

Alright. Rant over.

What are some of your favorites Sherdog?

Terry hasn't been the same since.

I was happy Marlon won but then became instantly worried Sterling might be dead.

Another one was Matt Brown vs, Sanches absolutely brutal...

the most amped my friends and I have ever been during any sequence that ended a fight was Wanderlei vs Jardine. Most of them were casuals but I had shown everyone the Pride Knockout DVD and like the Rampage vs Wanderlei fights or vs Yuki Kondo, so everyone was pumped to see him get back to the win column with a brutal finish.

Same guys watched GSP vs Bisping with me and aside from the Wanderlei fight, GSP finishing Bisping is probably the most excited a group has been watching fights with me ever.

also, surprising that CC/Gonzaga hasn't been mentioned yet. Either nobody remembers or im just an old fuck living in the past.

I jumped out of my seat and stood there in awe. I thought Barry was dead and I had no idea how Cheick survived that onslaught.

Platinums Elbow to Ellenberger and Ngannou upper cut to Reem thought he killed the man

Wand knocking out Stann. I thought he was done.

Bigfoot comeback.

At the time I hated Overeem, seemed cocky and was an obvious PED user.

Hell yeah man. Wand/Jardine is probably my #1 all time as well. We were all jumping up and down and yelling too. Most rewarding moment as an MMA fan

Dont have a gif but Tai Tuivasa’s flying knee vs Rashad Coulter. Coulter literally went flying like a crash test dummy.

Absolutely savage KO that was hard for me to watch, being a massive Crocop fan.

I remember watching that live, man was that brutal and Gonzaga's reaction after was homicidal.

This is one of my old school favorites right out of a computer game.

I remember watching this live. This was back when my friends gave a shit about MMA so they’d come over for the fights. I remember my mom said that the loudest she ever heard us was for this fight. We watched a lot of fights throughout the years too. We went absolutely ballistic. she actually ran in the room cause we were so loud that she thought something bad happened.

Yeah. I’ll never forget this one. Good choice.
