Period. End of story. The girl is as tough as any guy I've ever seen in the cage, brings it every single time out, and NEVER quits or gives up.

Congrats to Miesha from the bottom of my heart. I'm glad she got that elusive championship belt before it was all said and done, and before she retired.

When she fights smart she seems to win.

But then she just runs at Ronda and gets flipped.

Very confusing.
 
Ronda will get her belt back like in the first round by armbar.
 
Agreed, shes improved in ever facet of the game. That being said, she will lose to Rousey in 1 round and its back to the same talk of Rousey beating up men.
 
Tate is a long time fighter and all class well deserved.

I agree she deserves it, and I'm glad for her, it's just that I'm afraid that now Ronda will get it right back. And then maybe Holm will get it from her. Unless they do Rousey-Holm rematch before any title shot. Would actually be funny if they gave the title shot to Zingano in the meantime (I know, she hasn't fought in a while and is coming off a loss, but this is the UFC after all), and she takes the belt from Tate.

Really happy for her. Kept telling people that they were overrating Holm and Meisha had a great chance - and, yay, I was right. But of course this gives Ronda a straight path back tot he title which would send this place into meltdown :)
 
Amazing show of discipline and a great gameplan from Miesha, she stayed patient and didn't force things, but fully capitalized on all the chances she got. Hats off, and congrats!

Yeah. That's what I fear. But Miesha was smart here, maybe she'll be smart against Rousey. And maybe it will be enough.
 
Dana should just apologise to Miesha and back her as the new cash cow and make Ronda fight a couple times before getting a title match.

Miesha vs. Nunes next time and Holly vs. Ronda rematch.

She's definitely at the top for having the most heart.

99% of fighters would have tapped to that 1st Ronda arm bar.

Conor would have tapped before the arm bar was even locked in.
