Not to derail the thread, but what is your opinion on those Chinese enduros that go for around $1600. I was thinking of getting one. I'm 43 and never had a bike before. I know how to ride a bike and am also mechanically inclined enough to spruce it up a bit, but I don't want anything that is going to rip my dick off. These are around 250cc and for where I live it seems it would be perfect for putzing around town and hitting some trails.
