Or you can just do the Dan Henderson and knock his punk ass out.So that means there should be no control of steroids, gotcha.
I know that's the real thing you wanna say.
So tell me this, a titleholder about to face a roided up monster should forgo his belt or take roids himself if he wants to evade him?
No long term head injuries were accrued either, right? it was all rainbows and happiness. Knees to downed opponents have no long term effects. You're right. Mark Kerr didn't hurt himself on PEDs and no one was ever told to go in against CC and take a shin to the dome.
People die because it's extremely dangerous to get hit in the head. One punch or kick can be enough to cause death, even in the healthiest individuals. Brain injury and death will always be a very real risk in full contact combat sportsPeople usually die from dehydration from weight cutting and then the ref not stopping the fight fast enough, or taking too much damage in training camp and the ref not stopping soon enough. Professional organizations, while they may have weird incidents like RDA passing out the day before he fought Ferguson, usually have enough supervision and control to prevent deaths from happening. I really think a lot has to do with bad referees
Edit - combination of bad referees, and negligence of some form
That helps you in a fightSteroids don't help you in a fight...they help you in training.
Plenty of steroids.
Plenty of size mismatches.
Plenty of kicks to grounded opponents.
And no one died.
Huh...

I never said it wasn't. But that kinda thing is way more typical in street fighting when people land on concrete. My point is still very validPeople die because it's extremely dangerous to get hit in the head. One punch or kick can be enough to cause death, even in the healthiest individuals. You'd be amazed at how much punishment the human body can take before it gives up.
It's pretty damn hard to kill someone with your bare hands and feet. Atleast if there's a ref present to stop the fight.
If murder was legal, would the moral or ethical barrier be completely gone? Pride was cool, but it was a bloodsport that had long term, and sad physical results to whom those competitors are regretting to this day. Like Mark Coleman and Gary Goodridge. Who says they weren't being enabled by the Yakuza? Its fighting, theyre fighters and they don't need or want you to protect them from eachother.
So, why do you care if guys get hurt when they don't care themselves?
Holyfield can barely speak and he'd fight next Friday if they allowed it.

Igor almost dieded a few people. Remember that horrific KO of Bueno?Enson Inoue was pretty close, from what I gather.
And it was from strikes which would be perfectly legal right now too.
Well matched size wise with Igor as well.
MMA is weird like that.

Alan Goes was hospitalized with extreme brain swelling due to roided out 250lb Mark Coleman kneeing his head in on failed takedown attempts.
This was also due to the fact that Goes was 199lbs for their fight. Take away the 51 lb weight difference and it may not have happened.
I'm a big advocate for knees and kicks on the ground. Still am today.
