There are many ways to honor Hendo and his career, but gifting him a title shot is not one of them. Title shots should be given to the top contenders not the past ones

Hendo didn't do anything really to deserve the next shot, _BUT_ he's not the one who asked for it. Bisping wanted it. Cant blame Dan for taking the fight, try and go out of the sport as champion.
So if you want to complain about this fight, complain to Dana and Bisping, not to Hendo.

so. That is ancient history. Dan is a tough sob but he doesn't deserve this shot. There are 2 former champions waiting and 2 other older fighters who have earned a shot, Yoel and Jacare. I think Jacare is up but I wouldn't complain about any of the 4 getting the shot. Dan can fight Bisping fter he loses.

exactly. The belt should be defended. Anderson had cleaned out his division so I had no issue with him fighting up but no way the belt should be held up for these kind of fights. I will not buy this PPV no matter who else is on it. And I'm a Dan fan, just don't like the sport being dimished this way.

I do respect him! He is a LEGEND in capitals. I loved pride....his titles there were awesome.
He is in the top 10 legends ever.
But to keep this sport legit and keep titles legit it is important to have title fights between fighters who deserve it because of recent accomplishments...unfortunately that is far from the case now...
