No need to lynch Yoel. He already paid the price of not being able to fight for the title.

Plus an amount of his purse away. You really think he would "cheat" to gain a 0.2lbs size advantage no matter that it takes his titleshot away and his full purse??? Don't beat the man while he's down.

People here have no fucking logic....They are saying "rules are rules", ".2 is a huge advantage"....These people are fucking retards.

Yoel lost money like you said...Had a horrible weight cut, which puts him at a disadvantage......To face Whittaker, a guy who is the same size as him(Weight wise, Whittaker is obviously bigger dimensionally), so it's not like Yoel dwarfs him or anything.

But people can't think for themselves......They only think in absolute terms of right/wrong...There is no grey area to these retards, it's black or white.

He hasn't paid the price actually.
If he has to kill himself to make weight every time that means he should not fight at that weight class.

Fucking Mcgregor destroyed the sport with his antics

Ok , if you don't like those, how about

"Why 185.2? Why not 181.7?

He was fine, he was distraught because he missed it. He was stopped cutting weight, whatever happened, but he was fine cutting the weight until they asked him to step on the scales.

because .2 is fucking nothing.......Literally nothing.

181.7, you can sort of make an argument that is something of an advantage

Personally I say ban weight cuts, go to ONEFC system, Im tired of this bullshit.

So you should be allowed to do whatever if you pay the price for it afterwards?
Are we supporting murders since they're going to jail anyway so its all fine since they paid the price for it?
The fuck sherdog?

Well murderers do murder and get out, you know.

He couln't even walk after the second weigh in
It's obvious that the commisioner was right
Yoel shouldn't fight at that division.
And @GOATER is right, ONEFC system is the way forward

People act like Yoel simply failed a pop quiz. Yoel failed a test while he had the answers. No excuse for that shit other than health concerns, but if it's that significant, he's in the wrong weight class.

People are angry because they want to murdered to see murdered himself, if not worse.
Yoel meanwhile paid so much for measly 0.2lbs.

You may want to reword the title.

I was talking to a doctor friend of mine who specializes in emergency medicine. So he's well aware of dehydration. It's actually a very common thing people go into the ER for. He basically told me if it was taking him longer than an hour to cut water weight of 1 pound. That's a terrible sign. Dehydration can cause all sorts of issues. Kidney issues, liver issues, heart issues etc.
The current system is stupid and needs changing. I think every weight class should have a maximum amount of weight you could cut and there should be fight day weigh ins. If you weigh over the maximum on fight day your opponent gets 10 percent of your purse. Only seems fair since you're bigger than him inside the cage.

Everyone who misses weight is awesome until they get weighed. That's kind of a stupid comment.

Let’s all see how this shit fest plays out.

By that, I mean I’m glad fights on.

NY state makes you weigh in 24 hours before official weigh-in, and you're not allowed to lose more than 1% of your body weight in that last 24 hours to make weight. So, under those rules, one day before, Romero would have to be at 186.87 lbs.

I like that process.
