Seriously what effing balls on both of these guys both physically and financially to take a short notice fight like this. Fans of both fighters should be rallying for more fights, better pay, and less sham promotion of guys who they carefully feed people to across a series of years to maintain a sellable fantasy character.

We need to make sure the UFC keeps both of these guys in the limelight in the future because that sort of sporting behavior is what I find most admirable and compelling. Star power to me is not mic skills, but the jaw dropping ability to walk into a cage against a top guy and go for it.

I'm not chastizing people who decline short notice fights. I'm talking about people who would never entertain the idea of fighting top guys. Both of these guys wanted a top fight.
