Sometimes. That's a part of being a friend. Being able to tell your friend they are wrong and vise-versa. Don't be a snowflake.Do you always call your "friends" scumbags?

This democratically elected administration that... Won the electoral college, the popular vote, every swing state and gained votes in every single state... is antithetical to democracy. OK got itThis is a protest to prevent fascism.
To make it clear this administration is antithetical to democracy.
I am far from a snowflake, I am just not in the habit of being friends with people i think are scumbags. But , maybe my definitition of a scumbag is different then yours. To each their own.Sometimes. The Rachel Maddowing is strong with this one...This is a protest to prevent fascism.

You honestly think, even for a second that if there was anything in there that implicated Trump, that the Democrats wouldn't have released it as their October surprise and guaranteed themselves the electoral win?
No, you stated that, i never agreed. I have become rather reclusive these days and spend hours every day looking through political analysis from around the world. I imagine that I know a great deal more about what goes on over there than many Americans.Mate, let's leave it at that. We agree you don't know exactly what's going on here, why sane women are marching as an example...I know you won't have to worry about our reproductive rights as an example.
Too easy...As usual conservatives don't care about the actual crime or victims, all they care about is who they can blame.

Disappointed? The turnout was massive across the country. Over 7 million people came out today. It was fun, joyous, and unifying so no I am not disappointed. I think it's important for the face of this party be normie coded so if it were young people or minorities the admin could fear monger about the protest. It makes their whole "this is a hate America, pro Hamas rally" rhetoric look really bad when it's just like very peaceful and normie. I would imagine if anything they are upset, certainly this admin was hoping for unrest. You gotta be a little disappointed though, no?
This is some low energy shit. The whole performative anti-Trump stuff is kind of becoming a meme where old retired hippies gather around to feel youthful. It's pretty sad and pointless.
Fair enough, @essie. You have yourself a good night.Disappointed? The turnout was massive across the country. Over 7 million people came out today. Sad is an interesting word to use because to me days like this is when I feel the most hopeful and people in my friend group and family feel the same. But I mean I'm not trying to argue with you that you as a Trump supporter you should find these protests meaningful. But I don't think big social movements are ever pointless.
You too. I think we can both agree it's good things were peaceful today.Fair enough, @essie. You have yourself a good night.
Yeah, it's a real shame that it will never be released, as WHOEVER is found to be guilty of that shit should spend the rest of their lives in jail. We're saying we have no idea what's in there and probably never will.
Trump was never, ever going to make anything relevant public but said he would, so as he's in power he's having his feet put to the fire.
I don't care who's implicated, I wish it would come out. As Trump is in power I think any chance of him being implicated is pretty much zero, and it's disconcerting seeing Republicans not give a shit about the diva treatment Maxwell is being given.
As usual conservatives don't care about the actual crime or victims, all they care about is who they can blame. I don't care who gets blamed. If they have evidence anyone committed heinous crimes, prosecute them.
I didn't necessarily suspect Trump because I have never seen evidence he's done anything THIS despicable, but his attitude, the ancillary evidence, and Maxwell's special treatment all raise suspicions.
Why don't you guys want the evidence to come out? Are you saying you don't care about these crimes and don't think anyone should be prosecuted?
I don't think we would ever be friends, but I don't think you are a scumbag. I think you are very pliable. Don't twist it. I'm pliable. I just think you can be swayed by stupid shit. Think? I know. You get swayed over dumb shit in here all the time.I am far from a snowflake, I am just not in the habit of being friends with people i think are scumbags. But , maybe my definitition of a scumbag is different then yours. To each their own.
Yeah, he also won the electoral college vote, which is the only thing that matters, by nearly 90 points so... that wasn't even close.Know what else happened in every country in the western world this election cycle?
Also, not for nothing, in a country of 340 million, he won by less than two million votes.
Also also, his actions following his election are what I'm talking about.
With the greatest respect I couldn't give a fuck about abortion in Australia. No, you stated that, i never agreed. I have become rather reclusive these days and spend hours every day looking through political analysis from around the world. I imagine that I know a great deal more about what goes on over there than many Americans.
You live in California, it's not anything you need to worry about anyway.
I'll let you in on a secret... abortion in Australia, is a states issue, just the same as it is in the USA.
Or wear a MAGA hat at Harvard. If they want to see what authoritarianism actually looks like... go try that protest in Russia/Iran/North Korea/China/most of the middle east etc and let us know how that works out for them.
Back then i was blind to all the Illegal aliens pouring into this country. The Biden Admin did a really good job of hiding it. Hell, back then I even thought Trump building a wall was a stupid idea, but in hindsight, we needed it. I also slowly was seeing the Woke shit creaping in, and i always hated seeing homosexuals kissing in tv shows/movies. What they do in the privacy of their own home is fine, but don't force me to see that shit on TV. And the icing on the cake, MEN playing in womens sports, and being allowed in their bathrooms. If you can't see why you seem to think "I lost my way" I don't know what to tell you brah.I don't think we would ever be friends, but I don't think you are a scumbag. I think you are very pliable. Don't twist it. I'm pliable. I just think you can be swayed by stupid shit. Think? I know. You get swayed over dumb shit in here all the time.
I've said this before......I was here before COVID hit and you seemed a much more centered person. Maybe right-leaning but no reactionary like I see now. I always thought when I saw the koala av a decent post followed. You lost your way.
Yeah, it's a real shame that it will never be released, as WHOEVER is found to be guilty of that shit should spend the rest of their lives in jail.
Just basic common sense dictates that if there was anything that could be used against Trump in there, the Democrats gleefully would have used it to bury his political career during the last election.
What makes you think that I don't want evidence to come out? What have I ever said to even suggest that?
The thing that I find fascinating is that when the Democrats had it for four years, they decided... "nothing to see here". Trump said this is bullshit, I'm going to release it all... then when he got access to it also decided "nothing to see here". If that doesn't make people curious, no idea what would...
I can honestly only think of one likely scenario based on the evidence at hand: That Epstein was a CIA(or similar) asset and was gathering leverage on some of the most powerful people in the world for the US government. When the Democrats were in charge, they were told "Yeah, he worked for us and any release of this information would be highly damaging to the US government". Trump was all for releasing it until he was told the same thing by whatever intelligence agency.
I can't think of any other plausible scenario that would cause both Democrats and Republicans to choose to bury information implicating these shitstains.
Yeah, he also won the electoral college vote, which is the only thing that matters, by nearly 90 points so... that wasn't even close.
If he was acting like a king/authoritarian as these idiots are suggesting: he would never have allowed them to protest, would never have had a government shutdown and wouldn't keep getting blocked/delayed in the court system.
If they want to see what authoritarianism actually looks like... go try that protest in Russia/Iran/North Korea/China/most of the middle east etc and let us know how that works out for them.
