I was sitting at work watching Firas Zahabi's you tube channel and noticed he seems to use the leg drag in no gi quite effectively.

I was hoping the good folks on this forum could help me with a few things.

What are your personal tips on making the no gi leg drag work (even on bigger stronger opponents) ?

Good instructionals on no gi leg drags? ( preferably free instructional lol)

Who should I watch (in terms of someone who uses no gi leg drags well in competition) ?

Gianni Grippo is a great one to watch.

I would say in terms of consolidating the position - you're going to have to hug the hips rather than grab the lapel

Tying the leg drag into ankle attack sequences are really what triggered my aha moment with them in nogi. They kick straight, take the ankle, they pull in take the pass.

It’s quite simple, the leg drag will leave you in the position to grab the ankle and drop back for an inside ankle lock... if it’s sub grappling rules, you can do an inside hh... the sub is right there, most guys using legdrags are Ibjjf guys, so you will hardly see someone take the ankle instead of the pass, it’s a devastating ankle lock though, let alone hh..

2 on 1 the guys arm the way marcelo is doing i think is a attribute thing most guys cant just sit there pinning the guys arm to his body and working passes it has todo with marcelos body type and crazy grip control i love garcia but his guard passing techniques always seem to be based off his body type
