I did not know this existed in America in 2016. These laws are just two more drops in the bucket of American laws that remind me of Saudi Arabia or Iran.

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah alcohol bosses have filed a complaint and will consider revoking the liquor license of a movie theater it says violated a state obscenity law by serving drinks while screening "Deadpool," which features simulated sex scenes.

The law also bans the showing of any film with sex acts or simulated sex acts, full-frontal nudity or the "caressing" of breasts or buttocks. It only applies to businesses with liquor licenses, so most Utah movie theaters, which are alcohol free, are not cited under the law.

Anderson, who provided a copy of the investigative report to The Associated Press, said the fact that the film can be shown at other theaters nearby makes it clear Utah officials are using liquor laws to limit First Amendment rights of free speech.

Anderson said Utah's law is similar to an Idaho measure that lawmakers repealed this year after a theater sued after its liquor license was threatened for showing "Fifty Shades of Grey" while serving alcohol.

Utah Mormons man.......I have known plenty of Mormons in my life, and every Mormon that I have ever met, that wasn't from Utah, has said that Utah Mormons are a bit out there. Which with a Mormon translator is the equivalent of calling them fucking nuts.

In defense of the US here, this is kind of a selling point. Want to live with a bunch of Mormons...Utah. Want to live in a retirement state......Florida/Arizona. Want to live in a melting pot......Any major US city. Want to live with white folk who don't take kindly....rural anywhere.(Took will power not to go to the easy south hit there)

actually if you didnt want to live with blacks, you would go to the midwest. Plenty of blacks in miss, alam, tn, GA, etc.

Not very many in Iowa, Idaho, Wyoming, etc.

True, but they self segregate in the rural south. Black town 2 miles away from the white town. Culture shock when I saw that the first time to say the least.

Even the big cities do this for the most part, isnt that white flight. whites flee to the surrounding area to get out of the hood/bad parts of town. Thats how it is in memphis. All the surrounding areas are white, the city its self is about 60-65% black.

I laugh my ass off at some of my family who are all about diversity and getting along, etc. They moved from a diverse city to an all white suburb. send their kids to an all white school and have never had a black person over to their house for dinner. But they sure post on facebook about diversity and multiculturalism.
