Strange match up. Nikita deserved top 10 opponent, not non-ranked guy.

Ed Herman have been in the UFC for ever.
Good Vet.

Krylov Vs Manuwa would have been way more fun.

But I'm not mad. Not a bad fight

Krylov is still very green. No need to rush him. Herman will be a good test

I know Ed Herman kneed Boetsch skull off but Uhhh. Don't care for this at all

Nice. The UFC is making a good job feeding Krylov non-ranked guys to build him up in a thin division. Herman is not a monster puncher, nor he is a suffocating wrestler, but he's a crafty veteran, game and a decent grappler.

Yep Herman and Boetsch went up to 205 recently.

Cutting weight is really a b*tch I guess..

Good stuff, Herman has always been a big MW and I think Boetch started his career in the UFC at 205lbs.

Man I'm glad the UFC is actually taking the time to groom their prospects, LHW desperately needs it.

Bro, he's a TUF Finalist. That makes him automatic top 5!

Krylov via calf slicer or some other weird shit after being soundly out grappled

It could get a bit sloppy but nonetheless really entertaining. Good fight.

I mocked Krylov for having no skill after his OSP and Polelei fights, but the guy is all heart and actually does have some serious athleticism. Herman looked terrible against Boetsch. He's going to be way too slow for Krylov, similar to how Nedkov was. I expect a 1st round violent finish for Krylov. Krylov hurts guys very easily with strikes; it's really impressive.

Funny...He always looks like he has no idea on the ground, then pulls out a sub.
I'm never gonna bet on that guys fights.

I missed his last fight, but it was weird to see him pull off a sub on a grappler. When he fought Soa Polelei at HW, it was crazy how clueless he appeared on his back, constantly throwing up triangles with no arm. It's like he just tried to replicate what he saw on TV. And even despite that, he lasted a few rounds with a top-game beast who had an enormous size edge. Krylov has a lot of heart.

Boetsch only went up for that fight to stay active.
Herman did actually move to 205 though.

after 7 fights in UFC and over 25 fights. No, sir you are wrong.

His fights before the UFC were against low level opposition and they happened in the span of like 2 years (because he'd fight several times in a month). He's still developing.
