Me and a group of friends (male and female) are going to be in Denver for a long weekend this summer looking for some good bars or suggestions for a couple nights out.

There's a cool rooftop bar a block down the street from Coors Field on Market St. Can't remember the name of it. It's best experienced after a ballgame, though.

I have a cousin living in Denver. I hear the nightlife consists mostly of struggling to put babies to bed.

I don't have any suggestions but the free mass transit is great for getting hammertime.

I once heard the retired pro wrestler Ken Patera refer to Coors beer as "Rocky Mountain Goat Piss"

Pic of said female before offering suggestions.

OP's looking for others to join his gangbang, folks.

Depends what you're into...That rooftop place mentioned above is supposed to be awesome, basically all down town has insane food, I highly reccommend Euclid Hall for a hipster food/amazing beer menu that wont break the bank, Thirsty Lion is near Union Station and is legit as well. Bars I like 1-Up which is a coin-op arcade bar, its busy as shit on weekends, but i always enjoy my time there, im also into cigar bars, theres some decent ones if youre into cigars i got a whole other list of recommendations lol...basically in denver/fort collins if you like mircobrews and good food you can have an awesome time. If you need a quick bite, Biker Jims makes sausages out of things like Pheasant & Rattlesnake, Wild Boar and Berries, Reindeer, Jackalope (rabbit and antelope) and has an insane list of toppings for it and its all so damn good (been on food network a few times if you're into that).

edit: just realized you said this summer, go to a Rockies game, Coors Field is gorgeous and not a bad seat in the place, my wife knows NOTHING about baseball and loves going to that park, the Zoo is ok, but Henry Doorly in omaha blows it away, theres usually a lot of good musicals and exhibits at the downtown theaters and museums (saw the Tut exhibit there a few years ago as well as Wicked and Sweeney Todd if your into "culture" stuff lol)..theres also a "day of rock" in the summer which is a main street shut down for free concerts but i cant remember now if that is denver or fort collins...If you ARE into cigars, the Rocky Mountain Cigar fest in August is absolutely insane, people from california and vegas come out because its a lot better deal than Big Smoke. Last year i met JD from Drew Estate at the pre-party and he was hooking up everone with free rare cigars and then i got trashed for free the next day at the booths lol

Denver has mad mad breweries

like almost San Diego level

Thanks man this is what I was looking for. Will definitely check out some of these places. I went to the zoo a couple years ago it was a good time. I do want to catch a baseball game. That cigar thing sounds awesome but I will be there in June and have plans in August but I might plan to do that next year. Also want to go to red rocks any good relatively easy hiking trails you could recommend?

What cigar bars do you recommend?

The 1Up - the most fun bar I've ever been to.

All arcade machines are a quarter.

It's not a bar, but my favorite cigar place is Cigars on 6th, just a badass comfortable place with lots of regulars that are pretty damn welcoming as long as you dont take their chair lol...decent stocked humidor. I've also heard awesome things about the cigar bar in the brown palace downtown but I've yet to go check it out...

OH! Sushi Den is also fantastic. Some of the best sushi ive had.

Eat at Karma, thank me later. Also a really good satanic pizzeria called the Marquis you should look at.

My buddy works at this old brothel turned into a bar called Linger or something, really cool place.
