"This is how I think about it. It’s my second UFC fight, and I’m the co-main event. I’m fighting all these top prospects with either zero losses or one loss. I’m like, why am I fighting all these hard-ass guys? No one else is doing that. I’m the only one that’s doing this. I feel like the UFC is feeding me to the wolves."
Facts: Both his opponents in the UFC had a loss and pretty recently too. Brundage was 6-1 vs Maximov who was 6-0. And then Soriano at 8-1 vs Maximov with 7-0. He has not been matched up with anyone undefeated, HIS opponents however have been, against himself. <Lmaoo>
Unfortunatley he doesn't stop there. Here comes the remainder of this train of thoughts:
"Khamzat fights all these little ass guys but I'd like to fight him, you know, next. He's trying to call out Nate, but fight me then. We're in the same boat. Why are people scared, you know what I'm saying? He hasn’t shown anything to be scared about because he hasn’t fought any wrestlers. Saying he's "a wrestler" who hasn’t fought any wrestlers, so I’m like what the fuck? Fight me then!"
“He’s only fought MMA fighters, I’m a martial artist who can wrestle.”
And this comes literally seconds after complaining about fighting "top prospects" and "only hard-ass guys". The UFC are unfair to him giving him so many tough tests. But Khamzat on the other hand has only fought MMA fighters, so apparently not the same thing. What a truly bizarre interview.
