Media Nick Diaz was in Special-Ed classes

To be fair, (haven't listened or watched)
Most people who didn't give a shit about school went to some special class. Two of my high school buddies chose to "play dumb" because those classes were shorter and easier.
Which meant they could drink every day.
High school isn't a metric of reality.

We called em special ed classes but they weren't.

It was actually called "the ace program"

It was just "troublemakers"

One of the guys I grew up with who had the hardest time in school out of all of us, who we thought was missing a few cards from a full deck is very successful as an adult too.

That guy can fix literally anything and makes a killing as the go to guy on mine sites to fix millions of dollars worth of machinery. He also has a photographic memory and makes 250k+ a year yet was in slow classes since elementary school. He also owns some income properties and is well invested which is crazy because I literally thought he was retarded growing up. Our parents all told us to be nice to him

Ya, we had a few dudes in high school. They had no intention of going to college. They knew they'd either work the family farm, or car mechanic, etc. No interest in school at all just wanted to pass high school more or less. They didn't necessarily play dumb, they just didn't try. So they'd get the easiest classes and get dismissed like and hour and a half early for "work study" or something and just go home and probably drink or just go work their job. They weren't necessarily dumb they just usually didnt' have lofty goals and didnt' care.

Russell Peters the comedian says he was in special ed. Maybe he sucked at math as did Nick, but they both became successful in their fields.

I can assure you its the opposite. As a parent of a special needs child these schools try and prevent everyone from getting help because of the funding. You think they want to spend money on special needs kids. The funding is for them only they cant move it around do to strict laws so they literally see it as a hassle
