Nah, you gotta copy the shorts link, delete the part that says shorts in the link url and replace it with watch.

Converts it to a normal YouTube link. Then you go to the link and use share

This sounds complicated and unnecessary. You shouldn't have to remove anything and replace it, just copy and paste the url in the pop up after you hit the film button and hit post.
