That is the worst goal allowed call I have ever seen in any 3rd period stanley cup elimination game EVER.

He clearly PUSHED the goaltender into the net with his stick, and the rules state it is NO GOAL.

Even the kings announcers said it was brutal and it broke the sharks back.

Lee should never work a playoff game again.

That....was a fucking AWFUL call on the 2nd goal by the Kings. How in the fuck does an NHL referee let that go?

Not sure what's worse, the reffing in these playoffs, or the reffing in the skyball playoffs.

Its the NHL by far. Everyone knows Skyball is rigged anyways so it shouldn't be a surprise

lol @ no cal pussies. Crying about a goal that the nhl already said they got correct. Puck was by his skates and the loser was turning his head looking for it. Quick beating the shit out of Thornton was nice also. Best goalie in the world. Dominated tonight even though it was 8 on 5 all night with cheating refs helping choking soft no cal sports team. Only thing softer than no cal hockey is no cal nfl. All cowards with soft whinning fans.

What is this nonsense? The NHL doesn't know hockey and neither do you. Real talk.

Ron Maclean read the rule after the game and stated that you can't push the goalie into the net when the goalie actually has possession of the puck. His argument was that the puck was technically still loose, behind Stalock and then he was pushed in so the call was correct.

You created an account for this?

Quick beating the shit out of? Lol. Couture of all people dropped someone.

I wouldn't mind seeing Quick get injured after that bullshit he pulled attacking Thorton. That being said, the Sharks deserve to lose this series for their play recently.

Quick is the best in the world.
Please line up that sweet peice of tender ass for the hawks to marinate with rubber again.

Yep. Lots of crybabies were exposed by this post.

In the event that a goalkeeper has been pushed into the net together with the puck by an attacking player after making a stop, the goal will be disallowed. If applicable, appropriate penalties will be assessed.
In the event that the puck is under a player in or around the crease area (deliberately or otherwise), a goal cannot be scored by pushing this player together with the puck into the goal.

Didn't catch Ron what did he say? Puck is clearly under Stalock and he isn't moving. Williams jams Stalock not touching his stick and Stalock and the puck drift into the goal. It's like the definition of the rule. And look up Chris Lee, you will find endless articles on him being the worst referee in hockey. No coincidence it was him that blew the call.

If the puck was under him, why is he looking for it behind himself and why is his defenseman trying to reach his stick back into the crease?

Overriding factor is J. Williams did not put puck into net legally w/ stick but pushed Stalock backwards with his stick causing momentum & Resulting in the puck to cross goal line. This is no different than crashing the net. I would disallow Kings 2'nd goal re: 69.6. Once Stalock made initial save even though portion of puck became visible to ref from behind.
