NHL 24/25 - Still did better than Vancouver

cannor mcdiver is such a bum that he's a healthy scratch for tonights game against vancouver. won't matter with or without him anyways as the oilers still suck.
 
the oilers fans, who got mad and threw nacho's on the ice the other night when they were losing, are booing connor garland every time he touches the puck just because cannor mcdiver got mad and cross checked him in the head last week.

Oilers had played 3 of 4 days on the road last game. I'd worry more about making the playoffs than some perceived rivalry with Edmonton. I'm rooting for Calgary to get the 8th seed. Then they can say 'the line' after their 1st round exit. 9th place would be fitting for the Canucks.

we're not making the playoffs this year so the only thing to look forward to this season is roflstomping the oilers because they suck too.

and they couldn't even do that. fire everybody. rebuild.

for what it's worth vancouver does have a stanley cup to their name. but they were the millionaires back then.

This is the same way the Rangers fanbase reacted to their 6-2 loss to the Oilers earlier in the season, lol. The Canucks are still the betting favourites of the bubble teams to make the playoffs. Although they aren't odds on as it looks like they just dipped below 50%, probably for the first time this season.

I remember reading earlier in this thread you saying "this is our year!" a couple times. And it seemed to be a pretty common sentiment among Vancouver fans that they were a cup favourite. A lot of people were saying they were the best Canadian team. How are you guys liking Desharnais btw? lol.

I learned last playoffs that the Blackhawks organ theme has song lyrics called 'Here Come the Hawks.' I thought if you changed a few words here and there it would fit the Canucks and its fanbase pretty well.
