arguably the two hardest-hitting HW's in MMA history...

who would you say hits harder though? bork1}

Ngannou and it isn't close, only old nostalgic fans who hate giving credit to the new gen will say otherwise
That's just a salty angst-filled response. Not sure why you felt like you had to say that about anyone who disagrees with you.
As literally mentioned before your post, Carwin had insane power as well, but was a "1-inch" puncher. He simply didn't swing as wildly or load up nearly as much on his punches. . . and still sent people flying. That's a legitimate and nuanced response to a broad question "who has more power". "I'm right and anyone who disagrees is just old and nostalgic and hates giving cred" . . . is not.
You just sound angry.

P.S. And I never even liked Carwin. At all.

Ngannou is the far more athletic and better moving more technical striker, he is certainly better at creating KO opportunities.

But Carwin had some rare as fuck raw power... I never saw anyone else knock large durable heavyweights into spaghetti with short punches like Carwin. He hit Gonzaga with a little love tap and sent him to the nether realm and knocked that dude's mouthpiece flying (Christian Morehouse???)

Dude was a hitter.

He wouldn't send guys flying. He'd land and they'd crumble and fall but he wouldn't send their heads snapping back with whiplash like Ngannou. I also don't remember him knocking guys out with anything but his straight right

Francis by far.

Carwin hit hard for a big wrestler, that's about it.

Plenty of other HW fighters that hit harder than Carwin.

I don't know who hits harder, but based on the fights I've seen from both. I'd rather fight Carwin than Ngannou that's for sure.

Francis uses a lot of wind up and swings hard. Carwin had that big power in a very short range. I think Carwin had more raw power.

it was christian wellisch who is really a lhw. and he wasn't out cold.

gonzaga was hit with a perfect cross. it wasn't a tap. it was full power right cross. it was just a short punch, but that doesn't mean it's not a power shot.
