UFC is a legitimate business that has investors shareholders and is trying to return a profit. The Saudis are just burning incredible amounts of money without any expectation of turning a profit. They have sunk billions into endeavors like LIV golf, soccer, and boxing that have no hope of ever turning a profit. Ngannou and many others have certainly benefited from that.

Happy he got paid, but his whole legacy is sort of a what if. Fans missed out on Ngannou Jones 2x, Aspinall, Pavlovich. Instead we got to watch him lose 2 boxing matches and fight Renan in MMA. Good for Ngannou, but shitty for fans. He took the easier route and made more, that's a smart career.
