Hmmm....but he ko'd these 4 strikers on the feet and engaged with them. You could argue his tendency to blitz strikers could be a sign of fear but I don't buy it. It's heavyweight not bantamweight, anyone can get ko'd if they act sloppy.

Rumble Johnson wrestled Dan Hardy who was a striker or Cheick Kongo trying to wrestle other strikers, would be a better example.

The BB fight to me seemed like a guy completely doubting himself after a hard loss which many fighters have.

That from experience of sparring with Gane (former training partners) he knows he can't beat him on the feet which does not equate to being scared of strikers.

Fk outta here, Ngannuo is an underrated fighter around these parts now since Gane fanboys finally got what they wanted.

Francis clipped Stipe in their last fight when Stipe landed a blown from distance which could be exactly like how Gane vs Francis could possibly play out because we all know during their sparring sessions together they was throwing at 30% or less.

There's a lot more to know about Gane than one trick pony Francis. He's felt the power and felt the blitz already and should be an expert on handling it. Francis has to be an expert at handling a variety of strikes.

Id say pretty good chance. After what he said about fighter pay and promoting triller on his social media, the UFC is pissed. I have never seen them throw a champ under the bus like this before. He fucked up big time. They absolutely made the interim belt so that Gane would be the next in line and they can get Ngannou out of there ASAP.
