Yes, he's pursuing a bigger payday with an organization that will treat him a hell of a lot better than the UFC will and instead of people acknowledging that he's taking a gamble for the best future for himself, people are shitting on him for not fighting and conveniently forgetting that Jones just came from a three-year lay-off.

How do you walk away from a fight that never existed? Jones was never fighting him. He's not dumb.
 
Both had new contracts and both were supposed to sign new deals in Jan. Jon Jones has signed a new eight-fight deal with UFC to kickoff 2023. Ngannou did not and was let go in Jan.

I cannot hate the reason Ngannou did not sign his new fight contract but supposedly it would have made him the highest paid MMA fighter in the UFC, per Dana. He wanted to box and that is fine but it was Ngannou who did not sign his new contract. Both got new contracts for that reason.

I’m glad Francis moved on and hopefully it is to bigger and better paydays, let the lower tier chumps fight for the belt he doesn’t want or need anymore.
 
Ngannou absolutely demolishes Jon Jones every day of the week and he knows it. He should be ashamed of himself for even thinking that Francis left because of him. What a fucking narcissist.

He is more than willing to come back and show that he can do it. Not everyone is convinced. Jones comment was an opinion or his view and he has the right to it and the triggered neckbeards on here are amusing.

If some of you were this emotional and galvanized about your lives, employment, and success, you would be millionaires, and not a bunch of losers crying on message boards about people you watch on TV. Is it this serious that you come on here like petulant children and whine about it. Put that effort into building a business and making life goals.

I believe in you losers who post on here, make magic with your lives. Stop coming on here crying and whining about others and get a real life, not this imaginary one.

Nope..

Check the paydays of Wilder outside of Fury.. Wilder was getting 2-3 mil fully guaranteed before PPV bonuses. Francis is no draw. And the odds of that PPV selling are insanely low.. He is no Conor.. Nobody is..

Actually none of that applies to me, not even the millionaire part, but thanks for the advice. I guarantee you that if somehow Jones manages to win the belt and Ngannou announces his return, that's the day Jon Jones officially retires.
