Stipe exposed him for what he is...

A big, muscle bound dude who is/has
  • KO power
  • technically average when it comes to striking
  • zero TDD
  • zero ability when it comes to grappling
  • 1 round gas tank
  • 31 and not getting younger
  • a product of the UFC hype machine

Any heavy weight who has
  • a wrestling/grappling back ground
  • the foot work to avoid getting tagged
  • the chin to take a punch
  • a 2+ round gas tank
  • employed Stipe's strategy which is pretty much the blue print Velasquez used against JDS
will pretty much beat Ngannou

He beat a 38 year old Arlofski and a 37 year old Reem, both of whom tried trading shots with the guy.

Bring on the hate.

He’s a dangerous matchup for anyone but he has a lot to work on.

.
yeah, but how many of them are there in the HW division? None of the people he beat had them all. He fought a wrestler recently and the ref had to stop the fight because the wrestler took on too much damage. Not only do you have to have high level wrestling, you gotta have good enough striking to not get KTFO for the whole fight.

Not exactly a hype train when he KOd the number 1 contender within a round. Ngannou is legit as they come and ALL fighters have holes in their game.
That being said he's obviously got to work on his wrestling and conditioning.

People like you are the problem with sports fans; you're either an overrated bum or you're the GOAT.

lmao. I pretty much analyzed the guy in a nut shell. It was the UFC PR machine that labelled him the "Next Global Rockstar".

Well.. if you put it iike that then shame on the GOAT for not finishing such" a bum" through 25...

This place never surprises me.
I guess you think Ngannou is Brett Rogers.
I don't even hate dumb- it amuses me.

fuck youre butt hurt eh.

where in my post did i even suggest he's a bum? I just pointed out the obvious that was made apparent last night.

i find it amusing that the sheeple believe bullshit like "Ngannou's young, he's still able to learn" Bullshit. He's 31, he isn't going to learn shit. He's too late in the game.

Nah just tired of idiot fans like you that minimizes fighter's skillsets and discredit them. I was rooting for Stipe the whole way.

How he fuck did i discredit the guy? I pointed out the obvious.

Fuck these millenials and theyre afraid cause the truth hurts mentality.

Another hype train derailed.

I was happy Stipe won.... but you're breakdown is silly and hyperbolic

how is it silly? Ngannou tagged Stipe with one big windmill punch and after that he was on the canvas for 4 rounds getting out punched 83 to 0 or whatever in the what the 4th round?

How is that exagerated or silly?

What's silly is how the idiots believed the shit from Dana White.

Cause you went from the extreme that every one was thinking this guy was unbeatable to the other extreme.

Ok... and this monster can get better only someone short on intelligence would say otherwise

Kind of a rare combination isn't it? Other than Stipe and sea level Cain I can't think of anyone else. Werdum has the grappling and gas tank but his footwork is shit and he runs around with his chin in the air. Well rounded heavyweights who are defensively sound with good athleticism and cardio are almost non existent.
